You had mentioned to put the resolution command into a script file and add it to the startup commands. I know how to write a DOS batch file but how do you create an executable script in linux?

I heard somewhere that there are issues with some of the YouTube videos but I can't confirm that since I don't go on YouTube.

How do I change the video resolution when the desired resolution is not available in the 'Display" settings?
I am running linux mint 19.1 and have a VISIO 22" display.

Just tried both protocols and saw no difference in speed. After reading the meltdown article it looks like the UDP would be the better choice. Thanks again.

After watching the nordvpn video it confirms my feeling about using tcp. My internet connection is 100mb so speed is of little consequence but security is, my personal preference is for security. Ok, here is what I did and it works. First install wine as per my previous post, then run winetricks from your Software updater. Install the .NET as per the instructions from one of your previous posts. Than run the Chris Titus blog to install the whole cabudle using the Garmin site mentioned above....
