LMDE4 internet (Resolved)
I have a desktop with dual boot, LMDE4 and LM19.3, when I boot up with LM19.3 I get everything correctly, internet etc.. When I boot up wit LMDE4 I don't get any internet. As I said this is dual boot so the wiring is the same. Any ideas?
Forgot to say that I just updated to NordLynx on my VPN.

Changing boot sequence (Resolved)
I just installed LMDE4 as my second Distro (LM19.3 was the first) as a dual boot. Everything is working fine I just would like to change the boot sequence so that LM 19.3 starts first automatically. Right now I have to manually select the LM 19.3 item in the boot sequence. Nothing major, just an ann...

Re: LMDE 4 “Debbie” released!
I just installed LMDE 4 as a dual boot on my system, I ran into the following issues. 1. It would not let me install on the same drive as my LM 19.3, it wanted to erase the disk and start from scratch. I ended up installing it on one of my extra disks. 2 After completing the installation I configure...

I have a dual boot (Mint - Windows) system. I was looking through my filesystem when I must have hit some key inadvertently (Fat fingers when you get old) and it asked whether I wanted to delete my junk files, I said yes and didn't think anything of it but when I tried to boot up later it would come...

Re: Upgrade Libreoffice
Am running LM 19.3, just upgraded to LibreOffice 6.4.3 using a Flatpack. Now I am hearing some disconcerting remarks about using Flatpacks. How bad is a flatpack installation in this instance?

Re: Gimp immage manipulation
This is a follow up to the GIMP question. Trying different ways to appease my loved one (newly married, 57 years). How do you flow text around an image in LibreOffice?

Re: Gimp immage manipulation
I don't think I was clear enough, I would print out the sheets with the image on it and then she would type her letter and print it out on the pre-printed pages.

My wife wants to print out a Christmas letter, she got fancy paper with a Christmas border. Now she would like to print a faint background image in the middle of the paper similar to a watermark and than type her letter over that. Does anyone have any ideas on how to print a faint image like that?

Re: [SOLVED] Does Linux Mint have the same privacy problems as Ubuntu?
Two things, if you are using Firefox go to 'Preferences', 'Privacy and Security' and disable (check) the appropriate items. Secondly, I am using Nordvpn which gets a different IP address every time you log in besides they do not keep tracking records.
