Mint Software Manager howto cancel install in progress
The Linux Mint software manager does not show progress for Software under installation and also cannot cancell the install process or it does not show list of selected software which are under installation or waiting in queue. True aware of squashfs n remastersys ... But u know i was looking if option is avlble in mint itself to remaster.
And just the xtremetuxraer game is 600mb of download ...

So how do I go about it? It's my understanding that you can copy the .deb files from the /var/cache/apt/archives directory on one computer, to the /var/cache/apt/archives directory on another computer and install via the software manager (or otherwise) there. If I want to install on multiple computers a package say Multimedia Codecs, I have to download it each and everytime. That will waste a lot of bandwidth on metered connections.
