I like the one with 6 leaves best myself, it has a very distinctive (if a little Klingonesque) outline.

I agree with you wholeheartedly Clem, we need an Identifiable shape. I once heard Matt Groening (creator of the Simpsons) say that for any cartoon character to be truly successful it needed to have a very identifiable shape in profile. the same seems to apply with Linux distros (except you can drop ...

I'll third that vote, but could i suggest that we add "Icon Theme" to that list, I have been using this one since I found it and have had lots of people comment on how nice it looks from users of many different OS's http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php?content=49990 or possibly this ...

you are exactly where you should be, there is no stage you should be at by a certain time, everyone learns at their own pace, but it sounds like you have learnt to be sensible with Linux and are continuing to learn well

this sounds like a good idea, especially if it enables you to concentrate on developing mint full-time. Initially I thought £30 was a little high but then realised it was $30 so more like £15 which is much more reasonable. one question though, would the MintSpace package be available on its own? Y...

you need a torrent client first, I find utorrent to be a good one for windows, or Bianca beta had one installed as default (never got round to using it so do not know which one it was) not sure about Bea. If not then this seems to be a fairly comprehensive list. Once you have done that you just need...
