Thanks for reply but sorted it, dont ask why I tried a second memory stick and that worked ok, I purchased two new ones formated them both the same so why one should corrupt files and other OK

Sorry looks I 'cock up' my last post last night done some further investigating do not have the option to turn off the internal wifi card in bios. It would appear that this post as stalled however can I ask for further help I'm sure that my built in WiFi card is interfering with my USB adapter so can I ask how to turn it off and if needed how to turn it back on.
