I put a cd into the drive and Banshee is not catching the metadata for it.
Other programs are. How do I make Banshee try harder?
Thanks...

Rymthmbox extracting cd permission error

Trying to use Rythmbox to rip cds is not working for me.
I put the cd in, it catches the id data and I hit extract and it says
"Error transferring track
Error creating directory: Permission denied"

What do I do?
Thanks...

Re: Blackberry err: Unable to mount location - no media RESOLVED

I've followed those steps and I am still having trouble. Gnomad2 just endlessly scans and the process turns into a ZOMBIEEEEE. I'm back at Linux after a long hiatus so there may be some simple steps I am missing as far as mounting it? ... I really just want to transfer my music on to my computer's H...

Ok I have one of the (apparently) dreaded Creative Zen mp3 players. Mine is a 30GB Zen Extra from 2003. I have done absolutely everything I can find which has been recommended for getting my computer to recognize this blasted player. My current hangup is that when I plug in the player and start gnom...

Re: Blackberry err: Unable to mount location - no media in drive

Thank you!!!!!!! The portion on that link which says Setting Up the microSD Card After installing the card nothing appeared to have changed. Blackberry err: Unable to mount location - no media RESOLVED

Hello.
I have a Blackberry Curve with an extra 8GB storage card on it.
When I plug it into my computer, it recognizes it, but when I click on it, it says "Unable to mount location" and "No media in drive" ...
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Re: [tutorial] Creative Zen support on Linux Mint

I have the Creative Zen 8GB player. If you're just transferring music - you can set it up as an mtp device in Amarok or Rhythmbox. Rhythmbox: Open Rhythmbox, go to Edit-> Plugins -> place a tick in the box beside "portable players- MTP" Connect your Zen player with a usb cable, the player...
