Re: how do i unzip files in linux mint?

1. Use pidgin or Emesene or aMsn
2. Right click on the file, it gives yoou the option to archive (zip) or unarchive (unzip) by default in linux mint.

There is none.

You should run 64-bit only if you have a 64-bit computer and over 4GB of RAM.

Re: Changing Deskbar's Icon and Removing the Dropdown menu.

Ok, I can deal with that. Just changing the icon now. Unfortunately the only things I have found are changing the icons in /usr/share/deskbar-applet/art, which shows the icon that is on the drop-down bar, not on my panel.

Thanks for the help,

Ahh, what I mean is I want the arrow to go away. Not the drop down part that you enter searches into.

Changing Deskbar's Icon and Removing the Dropdown menu.

Hello, after searching for the past few days for a linux "spotlight" type program I realised deskbar is installed already >_>. But, after adding it to the panel it appears with a large icon and a drop down menu showing history, which I don't want or need. It looks currently like this: http://i282.re...

Re: Unable to sign in to yahoo messenger...

You should try using Pidgin, it will allow you to use multiple IM programs including Yahoo.

Menu -> Internet -> Pidgin Internet Messenger.
Then Add an account, choose Yahoo from the dropdown menu.

Linux Mint 7 (Main), GnomeGlobalmenu-2, Mac4Lin v1.0, Mac4Lin Aqua theme with its icons as well as some of my own I have found. Click to see them, I don't know how to do the scrollable things :) Without Windows. http://i282.removed/albums/kk279/Peden20/th_Screenshot-12.png With Windows. http://i282....
