Yes! Now... all we need is Mr.Clem over here.

(Clem should write a script that searches for his name all over the forum, that way we can summon him.)

Re: XFCE weather applet says "no data"

Meh, I'll just try doing a reinstall of xfce4-goodies.

Oh, and your #2 would be very nice for their fix list. It is quite annoying.

Re: XFCE weather applet says "no data"

Yeah, try the SID repo, as suggested in that link ^.

Tell us if it magically works though. I'd really like to know. Especially if you have a 64 bit system...

That's interesting. Your hardware must be on the hate list.

Just switch around the 3 and the 2.

Mint Net Install? [Idea]

Why not make a net install cd that allows you to choose which version of Mint you want to install? That way it makes it more convenient for people that only have cd-roms, and those of us wanting to make customized installs? I've always used a Debian net install for this, but why not bring it to mint...

In theory, yes, you can do this.

Then again, you never know what might happen.

Scary....

Re: Xfce Mint Debian is cool--literally.

Well... I tried the weather applet in SID. It's still broken.

Looks like Xfce needs to just port over Gnome's, since the weather.com or whatever site no longer allows free data requests.

Yes, that, and have you ran to the Window Manager tool, and changed it there?

It's not an all in one thing like in the Gnome Appearance app.

Sure, you'll just have to select which environment you want to boot up in from the login menu. (It's a little drop-down box, you'll see it if you look hard enough.)

What are you waiting for? Get movin!

Re: Things worth fixing for the next Xfce release

I agree with the thread poster about everything. But, the mint menu isn't much of a big deal. I can live without it, I guess. But everything else.... yeah, it needs to be fixed.
