An easier way - Go here: http://dev.chromium.org/getting-involved/dev-channel Scroll down the page until you see the Linux section, then click on the appropriate .deb package (either 32 or 64-bit). It will then install Chrome on your system, plus add the Chrome repos so it stays up to date. Thanks....
