[Solved] Error in terminal

Hi, I read a post on how to remove the fortunes 'apt-get remove fortune' 2 things happened, it removed fortune and deleted some of my default theme stuff and now I get an error when I start terminal 'bash: /usr/bin/mint-fortune: No such file or directory' does anyone know where I can fix this? thank...

Thanks for the reply but... Yes I can su the terminal but I want to use things like file management through the GUI and shares are root controlled. I use a command line for it all the time it defeats the use of the GUI. Also everytime I want to say like add software I have to login in, it reminds me...

thanks for all the info guys but one thing I am actually looking for the dpi setting but if I can create and xorg file I guess that should do it.
