Re: Anyone using iTunes for Mint 15?

I tried Banshee , but it doesn't work well for me. I can see the iphone , but after dragging files to it and unplugging the files don't show up. If I re-connect it I can see the files.

I've also downloaded libimobiledevice , but I don't know what to do to launch it.

what do I need to do connect an internal HD to a laptop?

I have a friend that has an old computer that's no longer working, which has some photos on the hard drive. I was just wondering what I would need to get in order to connect the drive to my laptop and gain access to the folders with the photos so I can remove them. I'm thinking some sort of adapter ...

Re: possible to mine bitcoins on linux ?

you seem like you've been doing this for for a while , and it looks like you're pretty knowlegdeable on the subject. I've just got a few more questions , if you don't mind. 1. are those other currencies widely accepted ? 2.is bit coin more valuable just because they're the first one's out? 3.is it p...

Is Bitcoin the most valuable?
I was just thinking about those Bitcoin ATM's , how would you know if they counterfeited the coins?

Re: possible to mine bitcoins on linux ?

I was just watching some tutorial videos , and the comments posted were saying that none of these setups the guys were using would even allow them to break even on their investment. The commenters mentioned cloud mining would be much more profitable. Any thoughts on that?

Re: possible to mine bitcoins on linux ?

thanks for the feedback guys. it sounds like , from what I've been reading , it's pretty hard to mine and be profitable. I wanted to try it , but I don't know enough about it to go out and build a computer specifically for this purpose. And , from what I can gather , that looks like the only way to ...
