the upgrade isn't aviable that easy, cause there are lot of depencys... it is possible to upgrade from 4.x but you nearly have to reinstall the whole KDE kit, thats why the "older versions" doesn't support it (yet), the developmental effort is just to big, especially when you're able to ju...

I've been testing 10 since before the RC, and yes it is quicker in response than 9....I'd like to figure a way to upgrade 9 into 10. Any way to change the repositories i would'nt recommend this.. i've tryed this way with a LM9 Main version... it has worked.. but not pretty good.. some programms got...

The good way: Install LM10 KDE

The bad way: download the source from http://www.kde.org/ and compile it yourself... you could get problems by doing so... you've been warned :lol:

when i'm @ work again i'll post you a link, where you find a description how to use Linux remotely over SSH -X from a wintendo client ... but although i'm not @ work yet, so you'll have to wait xD...

have you tried SSH -X? I ain't know what you wanna do, cause SSH -x is only useful if you just want to use specific software, cause it brings you single GUI-programms from the host really fast. if you want a full remote session you should read the following: http://people.w3.org/~dom/archives/2005/0...

well i decided im nice and cozy with mint kde ill stick with tht for the time being good choice :D i've got some more xD - Fedora (Gnome) for Programming - LM10 KDE for doing all the stuff for freetime - Arch Linux (fluxbox) for "playing" - and Wintendo... selfdescribing. @Lou: even my bo...
