Contrary to what some people like to say it doesn't 'just work'. Nor can it be expected to be. No piece of software "just works"; there's always some level of human interaction. Yes it is :) BIOS its works without any configuration fast start up :) and in some versions of it, it also have web brows...

Some guy on a forum flamed me when I asked for help with an error message, and then he launched into a tirade about sheeple, stupid Americans, and some other stuff I didn't really understand. I gave up after sheeple; what a stupid word. It's one of those words that says more about the person saying...

I think, as has already been mentioned, gaming has a lot to do with it, particularly with the recent GFWL (Games For Windows Live) innovation. well all u want is delay after pressing super L...if its prolong then menu will open and if its short ie super+"X" den the appropiate action sud occur...rite now m testing ubuntu 11.04 alpha1....just give me few days i will see to the matter

it seems our (state)goverment is raelly pushing open source,every year our govrnment distributes about 20000 pc's to meritious students.all pcs are bundled with custmized ubuntu with codes and few xtra apps and wine too!!! in news papr it states "we(government) prefer free and open source software"....

absolutely,i agree with wayne128 mint/linux cannot be installed in ntfs unless WUBI inataller is used. sometimes grub>rescue occurs if one have multiple hard disk,but reversed priorites, i mean linux is installed in the harddisk having lower priority,but since u hav a single disk so this problem can...
