Its for Nvidia and not for Intel, i can not find the solution for me there.

I know alsamixer from the terminal, iff i do F6 i get default and 0 HDA Intel.
But i dont see HDMI in it, whit vlc i can choose HDA Intel: HDMI 0 (hw:0,3).
Only in the mixer i dont see the HDMI.

I use hplip also and it works good here.
When you install it you can install the printer whit cups, and there choose for hplip network printer,
After a reboot you see the icon in your systray.

I want to use my HDMI on my Dell inspiron 1525, how do i get the sound working. One time i had sound whit VLC, but is it also possible to get the sound from your browser (chrome) whit HDMI? How you change it is not so hard, open the update manager choose edit en choose software sources and then the second tab ( other software ). There you can delete the orriginal security and multimedia lines, and add the new...

No problem at all, mowing the grass can do strange things whit a person.
I'm using LMDE since the begining and pointing to latest, i think its a good thing to have debian.linuxmint on security also.
