You sure you didn't misread that HP price i was seeing it priced from 850 to 1150 . Then again they could have accidently left off the first 1 . I remember a couple 3 years back best buy or circut city had big screen tv's on their website for like $10 it was a misprint got a lot of people mad lol.

Rhthymbox here what little i used itunes in window was not enjoyable I likec the box though. Have to say since i don't have any apple products to try and sync to itunes really had no benefit for me.

I like the specs on the toshiba better, and if you're going with mint the broadcom driver with wrapper works good on my acer but mine has the 4318 chip.. Not saying this is fact but I'm thinking some of the toshiba laptop utilities fan control and the like may have issues with linux and that may be ...

Just a high nerd here . Have to admit after learning a little assembler and fortran back in the late 70's I knew I was not cut out to be a programmer . Couldn't stang the idea of coding 8 to 12 hours a day in assemmble :roll: . but with the TOG TNG question they should have had a Picard vs Kirk answ...

Don thanks for coming back I tought I was being dumb and I was trying to use the wrong url :oops: Figured it out by right clicking on the pic to find out they list the direct link url there. by the way he's grown a little since then he'sall of 3 pounds now :lol:

Have to agree with DRHU here and what has always puzzed me is it can take people several weeks to get used to the changes going from one version of windows to another.and I have rarely heard' ' that version is not ready for prime time I'm going to mac or linux.'

Have to say no with these reasons found Itunes heavy , slow and awkward in windows don't own an mp3 player at the moment but am looking for one and will make a point of getting one that supports ogg vorbis because I love getting better sound to me anyway with smaller size files. Robin AKAIK the only way to get broadcom drivers to work in LMDE is to follow EXACTLY the steps listed on the debian wiki you will be using the directions for squeeze.

I'm thinking unetbootin should do this but if i remember right works best if you have the iso already downloaded at point unetbootin to the iso but i haven't tried it with LMDE so maybe not.
