I have a Fujitsu C2220 laptop with an Alps touchpad (left/rocker/right buttons and pad). Positioning the cursor with the pad works as does a single tap to relocate the cursor. Hot diggity! All that did the trick. Pops up active immediately, even with the broadcast SSID off on the AP. Did find something of interest in the blacklist.conf file that I'm wondering about below. I was pretty sure ndiswrapper was part of the original install and that's why I thought it was active...

Level 1 PostScript printers - remember these? Unless they were feature laden, just about any Level 1 PostScript drive would work. Still many around that work fine.
