Not a smooth and joyfull ride. I've only used VST's under LMMS though so it might work better under some other application.

Ps. LMMS is also in a period of heavy development right now so it's definitely something to keep an eye on.

Is it sensible to "underclock" in such circumstances? It's a quad core i7 Dell Inspiron. The processor entry under System Informations shows the following. One of them looks "wrong"?
