Re: inxi don't show wireless device

I wonder why LMDE did not update automatically inxi to the new wersion. inxi -U pulls in the latest from the inxi project and not from the linuxmint repository. A later update in the repository could possibly overwrite your update. If you look in the package system it will still show the earlier ve...

Re: motherboard gigabyte ga-f2a55m-ds2 linux drivers

Hi again!

I fixed the graphics on my setup by setting the integrated Graphics to Force and Setting the UMA Frame Buffer Size to a whole lot... It works just fine with the default graphic drivers under Ubuntu.

Re: motherboard gigabyte ga-f2a55m-ds2 linux drivers

I have the same motherboard with an AMD A4-5300. Graphics is a no go but I haven't had the time to mess around with it yet. I saw no improvement with proprietary drivers. My hardware GA-F2A55M-DS2 (rev. 1.0) BIOS F3 (A4-5300 is supported from F2) AMD A4-5300 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics × 2 ref. ...

Re: Removing vocals from songs

The techiques to remove vocals from songs are kind of brutal and don't always work. http://www.howtogeek.com/56335/how-to-remove-vocals-from-music-tracks-using-audacity/ Now it is probably the song itself where the vocals are not completely equal in the left and right channel so it is impossible to ...

Re: Low battery charge with Dell XPS 17

I recently installed Mint Maya and now, even when fully charged, it states that the battery lifetime is only 2 hours... I think it's part presentation of the battery stats and part a setting thing. You can force a battery to full voltage and it will let you work for a longer time but the battery wi...

Due to different Linux support condition provided by chipset vendors, please download Linux driver from chipset vendors' website or 3rd party website. More or less all component manufacturers have notes like that. Fear not! Have you seen this thread ? you may have been able to boot successfully and...

Re: SOLVED USB piano driver compile can't find alsa/asoundli

Also, don't miss this part of the README. You need some more packages to get going. On debian, you need these packages (probably the same on ubuntu): alsa-utils fluidsynth fluid-soundfont-gm vkeybd The fluidsynth packages you wont need with amsynth but it's a sample player(soundfonts) and you'll wan...

sudo ./usbpiano I'm not sure you need to run it as sudo. Just ./usbpiano could work too. I think your logical next step is to install a synth and get that funk going... 8) Amsynth is a good place to begin sudo apt-get install amsynth To easily route midi and audiio in a graphical way install patcha...

Now it looks like you're in the wrong directory.
