I've read in a few places that Debian will be the way forward (possibly when Ubuntu switches to mutter). If that's the case then I can't wait!

I've been dual booting with Windows for some time and love the flexibility this gives. To some extent though it feels like your hedging your bets and not really focusing on a particular OS.
