Re: LMint 13 (Maya) XFCE support?

Along similar lines, I'm trying to upgrade my Xubuntu to LM 13 XFCE, but I can't seem to find the XFCE 4.10 desktop in the ubuntu 12.04 or mint 13 repositories. Can anybody say where I can find it? Would it be the same version that's in the Debian Edition repositories? (mintdesktop-xfce)? Search Sy...

Perhaps not relative, but, these things are case sensitive. Might try to capitalize something.

Re: LMint 13 (Maya) XFCE support?

I would like to add a "Well Done." To Linux Mint for their vast impovement over Xubuntu 12.04. IMHO, this is a keeper.

Same here, no explanation, though I seldom mute with the mute button preferring the Space bar which does not have this problem. Try it.

Make sure you are NOT in the kernel you are trying to remove, then, use Synaptic to find and remove the Image and the headers.

Re: ATI Driver: Can't Boot After Switching to Intel Graphics

Quite simply, if you have an ATI graphics card use the correct Graphics Driver. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Re: desktop nova isnt working properly

When you installed desktopnova you had a choice in Synaptic: desktopnova-module-gnome or desktopnova-module-xfce. Could it be you chose wrong? One will not work with the other.

Re: Restart button only logs out, doesn't restart machine

Hi, Using Linux Mint XFCE edition. When I click restart from the logout button which for me is in the lower right corner of the panel, Mint logs out of my session and take me to the login screen, but doesn't restart. If I want to restart my computer, I have to do a full shutdown and then hit the po...

Re: Can't empty rubbish bin.

If you deleted it in Windows then the Recyclebin is probably in NTFS Format. Right click it and check Properties if you can. You may have to reformat, or put windows back on and empty the recyclebin to get rid of it.

Re: Use custom avatar on the forums

It will only work with a website URL. Does "website" mean it won't work with Google Docs URLs? I'm trying to get it to take a non-animated, 96 x 96 graphic, with a URL that I have checked by calling it myself in an email. It couldn't be too big a file, and I definitely have it set for sharing to an...

Re: Libre/OpenOffice Alternative

Been looking around, and haven't had much luck finding an alternative to PowerPoint. I know about Libre/OpenOffice, but it runs so, so slowly on my system, weighs it down, and doesn't do a great job converting between .ppt and .odt. Are there any alternatives? Perhaps something more lightweight? I ...

Re: Packages failing to appear!

You have several choices. You can go directly to /usr/bin and click on xbanner. You can make a launcher pointing to it at the /usr/bin/xbanner address. You can hit Alt+F2 and type xbanner to run it.
