So where are we up to... the current beta has one wifi bug that i hope to fix with some reloads, this bug is also in the main. Clem is back and he has been doing some heavy testing while away. We want to at least make one mint application to be QT4, and Clem is having fun with that too. MintUpdate ...

I like KDE, but 3.5.x is starting to show it's age, and 4.x.x is still in the works. So GNOME, XFCE, *Box ftw.

http://lxde.sourceforge.net/ Lighter than XFCE, yet more featured than Flux/OpenBox. Sorry you are wrong it uses OpenBox as the desktop manager there is absolutely no advantage to replacing Fluxbox with lxde. Debian Stable or Lenny, you choose. MEPIS does a great job with KDE, so don't get discouraged, and though Debian is mainly GNOME, don't be afraid to use KDE 3 or 4. My opinions..
