Re: Amazon prime instant video streaming

I got it to work by following Irishwoody's instructions here:

http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.p ... 66#p866278

Take it step by step and you should have no problems.

Re: <SOLVED...(not really)>Amazon Instant Video on Mint 13 M

If you haven't tried this method, Irishwoody's post gives specific instructions. http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?t=168266&p=865884#p866278 I followed it step by step (except for installing Firefox, which I already had). It gets a little temperamental sometimes connecting/loading on Ama...

Welcome :D

Take it slow and you will do fine. It's not very hard if you don't let yourself be overwhelmed by the load of new information hitting your brain. I learned after retirement and if I can do it, you can, too. You'll see.

Re: Linux Deepin a new Linux Mint serious challenger

It's certainly lovely and it's working very smoothly. Can anyone help me with stopping the screen from blanking? I don't see screensaver settings anywhere. Thanks.

Re: K3B and Krename just got killed by an update...

The best advice from zerozero is to wait for the packaging to catch up from Ubuntu. The same thing is happening to everyone. We have to see what happens over the course of the day, I guess.

Re: Latest upgrade

I wish I were as alert early in the morning. K3b is gone and I'm not able to reinstall it in Synaptic. It's a very, very rare thing for me to be pissed off at Linux Mint, but

That overruled the Gnome screensaver somehow and I've since been able to watch movies in peace. I d...
