Re: SSHHHHhhh. Don't tell my wife....

Re: Thunderbird - copying everything from prev installation

I have moved TB in full from XP to ubuntu to mint and back again by simply ctrl-h in /home and copying everything in the .mozilla-thunderbird/3iewge.default (or whatever) folder and pasting it into the new .mozilla-thunderbird/*****.default/ folder. Re: Wifi Intel Pro BG 2200 problem

Solved problem. Seems that Acer Laptops have that little wifi button on the front that is software driven. I spent a day searching and reading and now have my button working again so I can toggle the Radio Kill Switch on / off. http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-33055.html [ Taken from http...

Wifi Intel Pro BG 2200 problem solved

This is the most frustrating thing I have. I run Mint for days and the wifi is fine. Same network, same router. (This laptop stays on this desk, wireless only). Every once in awhile I have a hang on shutdown or suspend and when I come back up. No network. I've searched for months and all of the page...

Re: Wireless on Intel 2915abg - no roaming/connection

Network Manager was up and down with wifi for me. Got so bad that I had to go wired. I finally gave network manager the boot and went with Wicd via this tutorial. You can get Wicd at Sourceforge but the tutorial tells you how to add the icon to your panel. Try it. I haven't has a single wifi problem...
