Re: Warning: Failed to connect to lvmetad. Falling back to device scanning
The link you included had a LUKS partition /dev/sda5: UUID="e50493aa-57d2-404b-8d1b-a0cbbd2a6c9c" TYPE="crypto_LUKS" PARTUUID="326fb561-05" Yours shows no reference to a LUKS partition. You do have an ext4 partition on /dev/sda1, however it reports Partition: ID-1: / size: 3.89 GiB used: 112.1 MiB I...

Re: Failed Install: Opera Installation for Mint with same ERROR message???
The package opera-stable_65.0.3467.48_amd64.deb indicates it's for the x86_64 architecture which is the 64-bit version of the x86 instruction set.
So it's impossible for that package to be installed.
Code: Select all
[bill@xps-tina] ~/script ->$ arch

Re: Can no longer boot 19.2 past Emergency Mode
Yes, that does sound like a problem with fstab,
In emergency mode the partition is mounted read only so to be able to edit fstab you'll have to run
In addition if it does need an fsck you can't do it from emergency - run fsck from the installation media.

sudo mount -vo remount,rw /

Try copying /usr/share/cups/cupsd.conf.default to /etc/cups/cupsd.conf then restart cups or reboot.
