Export Excel to HTML

I don't know if this is the right place to ask. I am looking for a way to export Excel file to HTML, I need to export small and simple tables with pure Chinese text to HTML, this can be done with Excel, Openoffice and Gnumeric, but they need heavy editing. Excel creates huge file with lot of unneede...

I installed SCIM for Chinese input, but it only works on FF and TB, I can't bring up the input toolbar in any other apps I don't know why.

Re: X madness

The external monitor suddenly changed to 800x600 for unknown reason, I can't change it back to 1280x1024 via the control center, the setting did not take effect, gave it up, I copy back the working configure file instead, then I tried to change refresh rate coz my monitor 'waving', but nothing excep...

Re: AMD Geode Support

Some come with 8G SSD and 512 RAM I think enough, but don't know how the CPU compares to P4 or similar, it is running at low clock rate but we can not judge by that as it is a new design....

Re: Bluetooth Dial up support

No modem driver needed when connect via BT instead of direct cable connection, so this setup is cell phone independent, I can use any cell phone that supports Bluetooth dial up network, also not limited by the cable, same reason you use BT headsfree set instead of wired one. Since I cloned the whole...

Re: X madness

The hardware I am using is at least 4-5yrs. old, so I guess it is not as cutting edge as the latest Linux distro, and my problem mostly connect with ATI that make me feel Linux/Xorg is not ATI friendly, but if one distro works better than the other then the problem is not directly related to the dri...

Re: X madness

I am using a NEC notebook with ATI display, not the latest model so the supplied driver should work, I only want to clone the display to a higher resolution monitor this shouldn't be too hard to do.

Re: Bluetooth Dial up support

I've been using BT DUN on Linux for couple years, and cloned a working copy to a NEC notebook and use the same USB dongle but it can't access the modem, but file transfer ok, it is a Nokia E65.

Re: X madness

Here is the 'working' configuration, I can have full screen on external monitor but some apps such as Firefox and Thunderbird can't maximize to full but some others can, I can also move the windows around the full screen area, there are 2 things it can't do, I can't change refresh rate and the monit...

X madness

I think what made Linux not the main stream desktop OS is the complication of setting up X, every time I change display card or monitor I need to spend hours to make it work properly. Just now I connect my notebook which has a 1024x768 screen to an external 1280x1024 one, it worked but only the 1024...

Bluetooth Dial up support

Hi there, I am running Daryna KDE and using my cell phone GPRS connection via an USB adapter to access the internet, I've been using this setup for couple years and worked fine. Then I cloned the whole system and transfer to a notebook, and I use the same USB dougle but it no longer connects, I can ...
