Mousewheel zoom does not work in Mint 17

Hello. I've always been using the gnome shell mousewheel zoom extension.
But it doesn't work in mint 17.
I really need this to work. Please help me?
Can someone perhaps write a cinnamon version of that extension?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Super key doesn't work. Any workaround of fix?

Thanks, but everything else works fine, so I don't wanna upgrade until I have to.
Is there anything I can do in dconf-editor or something?
There has to be a workaround, right?

Re: No sound Linux Mint Debian xfce "Install Wizard" availab

My mistake. I meant pulseaudio -k. When I restarted, and looked in the home file, the .pulse and pulse cookie had returned. Because these are the settings for pulseaudio. When you delete them, you also reset to default settings. Since there were still no sound, something must have happen with pulsea...

Re: No sound Linux Mint Debian xfce "Install Wizard" availab

Okay. Let's first try and reset pulseaudio's settings. Open up a terminal (CTRL+ALT+T) and type in pulseaudio -k Now go to you home folder and delete the folder called .pulse and the file .pulse-cookie. These are hidden by default, so press CTRL+H if you can't see them. Reboot and see if it's back t...

Re: No sound Linux Mint Debian xfce "Install Wizard" availab

Well. You don't "need" a terminal in linux any more than with OSX. But it's there. Sometimes, when you can't get around the issue in GUI, you will need the terminal. In windows, you can't use the terminal out of the box because it's locked down and hidden. That said, Linux doesn't have as many users...

Re: Super key doesn't work. Any workaround of fix?

It will work sometimes. It will stop working after about the first 2 minues after I login. I have tried that (obviously). So any workaround idea here? And like I said, almost any menu applet would do as long as it has search feature and is not too simple and basic. I have yet to find one that'll all...

Super key doesn't work. Any workaround of fix?

Hello. The super key usually never work. And I don't know how to change the key to something else so tht I can use the start menu. I'd love to change it to ctrl+super_l. Also what's the /path/to/cinnamon/menu so that I can manually set the shortcut? And if I choose a different menu applet such as Me...

Re: How do I submit packages to the mint repository?

Thanks.
Can I upload deb files on that website?
And do they offer ppa?
I've tried launchpad, but I don't understand their setup, and you can't upload deb files there for some odd reason.

Re: change owner or group

Is this while you are logged in as the original administrator user you made when you set LinuxMint up, or have you made a limited desktop user? If you are logged in as original admin user Try using Disk Utility and without removing the USB drive, unmount the USB drive, then mount it again. Can you a...

Re: Mint is not changing my default browser.

There are 2 workarounds you can try. 1) apt-get remove firefox, and then see if your default browser is chrome. Or 2) if you're never going to use firefox, you can go for a more dirty workaround. Create a bash script like this (using gedit): #!/bin/bash /opt/google/chrome/google-chrome %1 Save the f...

Re: How can I enable ubuntu software center store in Mint?

I know it's not like the iTunes store. But there will be more and more apps there you know. I want Family Farm, Illumination, the Clockwork Man games and probably some more stuff. But the thing is that I paid for them through the software center back when I used ubuntu. And I thought the software ce...
