Re: How to upgrade to Linux Mint 19

Hello!
I'm running Mint 17.3 Mate 64bit.
I've done backup, and created snapshot with timeshift. :D
What is the safest way of upgrading to Mint 19 Mate? Do I have to upgrade to Mint 18.3 first? If yes, where is this instruction?

Hello!
I started to use TC under Wine, but I can't make it access local network shares and my NAS. Is there a fix for it so I use TC for copying/moving files over LAN?

Re: For Pale Moon users: you're protected

Well that's a great info, indeed.
I was wondering if PM had a note on these bugs on its home page, perhaps a download update is available, but no.
It's a pitty PM homepage hasn't been refreshed since Nov 2017 :(

Re: WhatsApp for Linux

Can I safely use "WhatsApp" in Mint. Why should you emulate android in Mint? When you can use desktop version of WA through your browser? I use it in PaleMonn browser every day and no problems at all. Besides that, I also use Telegram as web app and Viber as instalable ".deb" app. The only thing wh...

Q:Middle mouse button to open Caja?

How can I assign middle mouse (Logitech B100) button to open Caja in Mint Mate 17.3 globally, except in Pale Moon browser app (I want this button to remain with default config there)?

It's a nice place for me to ask here - What is the exact command in control center > keyboard shortcuts > add custom for starting Caja. itried "Caja" - not working.

Re: Tapatalk on new forum, when?

Could I be cheeky and ask what "tapatalk" is? It is a forum browsing app for mobile phones/tablets, for android, ios, wp. In order to be tapatalk enabled, each forum must implement tt plugin. Furthermore, tt can store all your forums login credentials and by logging into tapatalk you are being logg...

Hmmm, I'm not so sure. It's more secured than Viber, but less then Signal. I like it because you can send to yourself anything from PC to mobile and vice versa.

But Franz is a news to me. Is it safe to use? I noticed Viber and Signal are missing.
