Re: How can I autocrop out margins from a book that has been scanned into PDF?
I found briss. It's not auto-crop, but it's close. It intelligently puts a box around just the text (it detects headers and page numbers as stuff to crop out).
It seems to be the best one so far.

How can I autocrop out margins from a book that has been scanned into PDF?
There is a PDF of a scanned book that I'd like to crop. The PDF is freely available here , from the author. As a scanned book, the margins are not consistent. On some pages, the text goes all the way to the edge of the PDF's page (for example, PDF page 129 or actual page 112. On other pages, the tex...

Re: Seeking the next most readable font after Lexend
I recently installed/added Lexend into my mint computer and e-reader until someone pointed out that it doesn't have bold or italics versions. Unfortunately the font creator didn't create a bold or italics version of the font, not is it a priority for him. Surely the whole point of Lexend was to imp...

Re: Pls help me debug/fix a JSON error code on a webpage using Google Chrome's Developer Console
Hi fellow Minter, Murray. :) Thanks for checking up on things. Usually anything you do in the developer console is temporary and is lost as soon as you close the page, so even if there was a way to fix this in the developer console you would have to do it every time you used the extension. I don't m...

Re: Pls help me debug/fix a JSON error code on a webpage using Google Chrome's Developer Console
Apparently this is something that can be fixed in Google Chrome's developer console.
For many months now, the app developer has repeatedly said "We'll get it fixed in two weeks". But the fix has never materialized.
So we can't wait for them.

Pls help me debug/fix a JSON error code on a webpage using Google Chrome's Developer Console
If there's anyone with expertise in JSON (or JSON API response), please help. There's an app I use called ReadAcrossTheAisle. It's available only on Google Chrome . I use that extension to read Wall Street Journal articles for free, with a renewable seven-day pass. Steps to replicate error: Open Goo...

deepak, it is.

I'd rather not have to go through virtualization if I can get it working through wine.

Help me create a webpage that will search 5 libaries (search engines) at once
I would like to search five libraries at one time. Is there a way I could create a simple webpage or whatnot so that I could type in my search word once and then have five different search engines running at the same time with the same search word? They are in this sort of syntax https://www.library...

Turn a bunch of colored JPG files in one folder into grayscale
I have a bunch of JPG files in a folder. They are full-color. To save space, I'd like to turn them into grayscale (16 shades max), but without losing quality. How can I do this easily?
