Yes, it will be this way. this prepared service will be run after suspend/sleep. It briefly serves to deactivate and re-enable the r8169 driver.

Can you try to run following commands.

These commands are temporary. If issue solves by this way, it can be made permanent.

I have installed the 5.2.5.2.1 and the 5.5.2.1 version of the RTL8821ce-dkms for 5.3* kernels, 5.4* kernels, and 5.5* kernels. Only the 5.3* kernels recognize and use the drivers. Hi Sepesusi,

I changed rtl8821ce-dkms package's priority on PPA. Now, rtl8821ce-dkms package will be installed only from PPA repository.

I follow the changes in the rtl8821ce's github repository and update the package in the PPA repository only for important changes.

Latest update to linux-firmware 1.173.15 and rtl8821ce-dkms-driver killed the 5G connection of my wifi. The 2,4 GHz connection is still working.
