didn't work out well xsessions gives no hints because of the script i don't own the files so they are 'impossible' to delete i think after the install when you move the whole thing to where it should work is an incorrect command for debian cp /opt/e17/share/xsessions/enlightenment.desktop /usr/share...

did it switch up kernels?
i'm getting that same behavior with 3.2 rc but i'm fine with 3.1

i started playing with the gnome shell group this required a sid upgrade then i found out i could also use kde as a completetely different desktop all very fun and quite painless if you do it right however 'right' seems to be different for each system i didn't go kde full but went kde plasma desktop...

top left your screen moves and gives another option windows or applications type tweak tool into the far right window it's icon is only a screwdriver and wrench the smiley face guy with the broken head comes up after selection right click it so it's easier to find until you get accustomed to it quit...
