i agree! i think there trying to stomp out any linux mint talk to discourage other users from jumping ship. i dont mind if they feel that way, but they should just let people know not to talk about other distros upfront.

go to picasa site and download windows version. just open exe with wine? thats how i do it. ive never had a problem with adding any of the wine repos.

google chrome is always ahead of chromium so it's the better bet....also (unlike chromium) it has a handy "built into browser" pdf reader for reading without downloading it to your hard drive (you can still right click the file, download and save if you want of course) and built in flash plug in......

thanks for the link. i thought i saw some notes on the 14 release that they fixed several security issues. seems like in 2 versions ago there are some holes to plug.
