Re: Grub broken - nvidia unknown parameter "audio" error

Thanks for the answer.
When I try to update the grub it tells me:

Code: Select all

/usr/sbin/grub-probe: error: cannot find a device for / (is /dev mounted?).

Re: HDMI cable:poor quality / are there any settings?

Many thanks for the answer.

The result was a bit of a disappointment, really, since all I got was fonts wrapped in white, pixelized video, etc. Is this the way an HDMI connection supposed to be? Are there any...

Many thanks, Leit, but this doesn't apply to KDE (at least I don't know how to do it).

Hi, everyone.
Just installed Mint KDE 10 and after the NVidia drivers which I installed through the system notifications, the booting screen has lost the Mint logo and the little dots becoming blue as the system boots. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
