although I don't agree on the "asshole" part (zerozero is always helping A LOT), I also find very frustrating that there is no indication anywhere as to when the next UP could be expected. I understand the status of LMDE and have read all the disclaimers, but still it would be good to set the right ...

zerozero, I tried the way you said, it didn't make a difference, although I now realize I was not doing it the right way.

Lippy, I see what you mean, I'll stay with my bug for now in hope to see an UP in the coming weeks.

Hello, I currently use LMDE latest that includes Pidgin 2.10.2. this version has an annoying bug that is corrected in 2.10.3, according to Pidgin website.
