I also want to point out I am seriously thinking that not a lot of data is being transmitted.The upload and download speeds are both 0.0 and the data column on the modem flashes a few times but I mean just a few times, not close to as much as it should be flashing when I am trying to load a website....

Idle time must be disabled by default as when i went into options it was disabled Also if you know your ISP's DNS # you may want to try using the static IP address under networking instead of Dynamic. Tried it and instead of it tying to load the page it immediately failed.
