Constant TCP/IP Traffic

Hey all - anyone ever noticed the contant amount of internet traffic done by LM17 Cinnamon 64-bit? I only see it on the Cinnamon version of Mint...anyone know where I can look to see what's going on? Don't mind the big spikes, that's when I got on the internet. It's not so much the "Up" but rather j...

Good to hear.
Also remember, sometimes you can solve your driver issues by updating your kernel

Re: Mint 17 Only a single theme available

Just go to the System Settings and to your themes and choose the "Get More Online". I believe it's in the Appearance Preferences in MATE under the Themes tab.
I don't use MATE all that often, so my knowledge is not 100% lol

Re: Bohdi linux wont be in full screen

Yea, I'm unfamiliar with VM workstation 10... Nevertheless, since this issue has really nothing to do with Mint (and might not even be a Linux issue, maybe the issue is with the VM application and/or Windows and not Bodhi), you might not find the best solution on these boards. If I have VM workstati...

Re: Bohdi linux wont be in full screen

Okay, so you are running Windows with 2 Linux VM's installed - Mint and Bodhi. Your Mint VM is running fullscreen just fine, but your Bodhi VM is not.
Is this correct?
What program are you using to run the VM's, Virtualbox?

Re: Bohdi linux wont be in full screen

Wait, so you have Bodhi installed as a VM inside a Linux Mint PC? Or you are running Bodhi as the main OS?

If you're really wanting to see what a Mint version will run like, use the Live ISO here: a) Cinnamon - http://www.linuxmint.com/edition.php?id=158 b) MATE - http://www.linuxmint.com/edition.php?id=160 c) Xfce - http://www.linuxmint.com/edition.php?id=170 d) KDE - http://www.linuxmint.com/edition.ph...

Re: What exactly is "compatibility mode?"

Yes, like Pat stated, Compatibility Mode is used by Windows to emulate older hardware/software to make sure no matter what type of PC you have, the program will run or install correctly. Unfortunately this will have nothing to do with Linux :( Dell, as well as other printer manufacturers, usually la...

[SOLVED] Changing the Initial Loading Screen after Login

Hey all, I was wondering if it was possible to change the KDE loading screen that you see after you've logged in? It currently shows the default LM17 KDE white background and the KDE icons loading across....and I hate it haha
Thanks for the help (new to KDE )
