managed to remove them via the terminal and all is fine now.

fallback mode after switching to nvidia
so I saw there were updates to do, so I launched the update manager which recommended to switch to nvidia from the open source driver. It did its job and ask to restart. Since then it keeps throwing me in fallback mode and can't get Cinnamon running. How can I switch back?

Thanks, it looks better but I'm used for the taskbar to be in the bottom. There is no way around this?

Plank is not fully visible
I installed Plank and I can onlu see the top half of it. It looks like the bottom half is covered by the bottom dark part where the launcher etc... are
