95.0.1+linuxmint3 is discussed at https://github.com/linuxmint/mint20.3-beta/issues/47. It's a version which is indeed much closer to Mozilla's and which aligns with most of its default configuration. Other than the bug discussed here, these changes are not live in stable versions of Mint yet. 95.0....

Hi everyone, This was a bug in 95.0.1+linuxmint1. It's fixed in 95.0.1+linuxmint1.1. I'm not sure how much to explain here.. what happened is so complicated. Outside of Mint Firefox would normally update its configuration automatically every 2 hours or so and overwrite its engines (this is based on ...

It's been added now.

Also, just for info, the value for the home page is set in debian-system-adjustments, so it should change as you upgrade. That said, if you ever change it in Firefox it will no longer change since it becomes a custom setting then.
