I would sure like to see the "Show Hidden Files" option back on the right mouse click in the /home folder as well as everywhere else in 17.2 .
That is my one and only suggestion, the rest of it is great!

There is a calendar addition for Thunderbird as well.
Click on the three horizontal menu bar to the right of the search box in Thunderbird and click on Add-ons
The one you are looking for is named Lightning.
