Re: Linux 16 Netspeed

Thank nomko for your reply. That did not work. Number 1, there is no option to "Add to Panel" anymore. Your comment about Mint missing the applet may be spot on. I noticed in the repository there is a netspeed specifically for Mate, but not Cinnamon. Perhaps that is the problem. Can anyone else help?

Linux 16 Netspeed

I just installed Netspeed from the repository. It says I have it, but I don't know were it is or how to put it in the panel. Help.

Re: Computer on Wireless Network

In the past, with other versions of Mint, I could see the other computers on my wireless network, browse them, and even copy and paste files. Now I can't and I don't know what's changes. I have both Vista and another Mint computer on the network.

Cinnamon vs Mate Dual Boot

First, I really like Cinnamon, but have some problems with it. Until Cinnamon I touted the ability, when dual booting with Mint, to access the Windows partition while Windows cannot access the Mint partition. I can do so with Mate, but not Cinnamon. Why? Likewise, I am unable to see other computers ...
