try this download the driver from here you want r8168-dkms.
you'll have to download on another machine and put it on usb stick or disc. what ever your machine will accept. right click on the file and select open with gedbi. install the driver, reboot see if network is working.

keepassXC also has an appimage that works very well with mint and requires not installation.
