Re: TimeShift does not complete
The following directories are excluded /home/<myuser>/** /home/cshell/** /root/** you should not even touch exclusions in new timeshift settings. you say you excluded /root? i stayed away from timeshift long time because i could not understand the settings. one day i just installed it, chose locati...

Re: .sh file failing to run even with run permissions
doubleclick scripts in xfce won't work. some desktops like mate, cinnamon give you option to open as text or run script in terminal.
for you, open Terminal in folder where ServerStart.sh is located and run
./ServerStart.sh

Re: resize NON efi exfat partition and flash iso to usb (2 questions)
what are you asking? to resize a partition, format or build a live linux mint? more than likely it was formated on windows and made it read only in linux. you can erase your usb in gparted > Device > Create Partition Table > msdos which will delete the first few sectors of usb. then format Create Ne...

Re: TimeShift does not complete
I would never had believed, that a private user would own a 3 digit value of TB drives, even with external drives. Something is unbelievable. if you check properties for /proc you find out the exact value is 140.7 TB i'm sure on your system also. something happened when OP included which folders to...

Re: (SOLVED) Re: Winehq corrupted APT Config
I have Wine 5.0 installed and it works fine. i'm using wine 4.0 in mint 19.3 which works fine for what i need it for, a few directx games and some audio editors. but some programs exclusive to 32bit won't work right if winecfg isn't configured for 32 bit. sad you can't have a 32/64 bit confguration...

Re: Create icon to the desktop
For usual migrating user it's not a point. It's just a point of dealing with comfortable interface in cinnamon desktop you have the option to rightclick of file/folder > Make Link you can then rename the link to make it shorter and move to desktop not the fastest way but works. or, you can add it y...
