Re: Kernel 6.2.2 broke bluetooth (Qualcomm Atheros)

not sure what streaming means here, but try changing your DNS and test again
click your network tray icon > Network Connections > doubleclick your connection

Code: Select all

1.1.1.1, 9.9.9.9
reboot.

if you created a usb that did boot on another laptop than the usb is not the issue. i have no clue about imac bios never owned an apple. something must be blocking the boot process just like some lenovo laptops also do.

The following directories are excluded /home/<myuser>/** /home/cshell/** /root/** you should not even touch exclusions in new timeshift settings. you say you excluded /root? i stayed away from timeshift long time because i could not understand the settings. one day i just installed it, chose locati...

doubleclick scripts in xfce won't work. some desktops like mate, cinnamon give you option to open as text or run script in terminal.
for you, open Terminal in folder where ServerStart.sh is located and run ./ServerStart.sh

Re: resize NON efi exfat partition and flash iso to usb (2 questions)

what are you asking? to resize a partition, format or build a live linux mint? more than likely it was formated on windows and made it read only in linux. you can erase your usb in gparted > Device > Create Partition Table > msdos which will delete the first few sectors of usb. then format Create Ne...

in your case if you haven't changed any settings more than likely your drive is FULL with automated snapshots. how large is your timeshift folder?

make link is the same as microsoft windows create shortcut. you can take this link (symlink) and put it anywhere you like or delete it the original file still remains. you can rightclick on a symlink (symbolic link) and > Follow link to original file

Something is unbelievable. if you check properties for /proc you find out the exact value is 140.7 TB i'm sure on your system also. something happened when OP included which folders to...
