It looks to me like you have set up the symbolic links correctly, whatever you need to do next is program specific. As I said, I don't use LibreOffice so I will not be able to help you further. That means you have mysepll-en-us installed, that's the first step. to install something you don't just type its name you have to use a package manager, often apt-get. So you would type sudo apt-get install myspell-en-us It is possible that the en-us package is already installed in which case you only need to create the symbolic links sudo apt-get install myspell-e...

Mint has a problem with mp3 players made by Creative and it's there's always a chance that it will recognise it one day but not the next. Even if it is recognised, any music transfers may be unsuccessful. Gnomad2 is a program which seems to help with recognition and makes transfers more reliable. I...

If your player is made by Creative (or even if it isn't) you could try installing Gnomad2 via the software centre or Synaptic and see if it recognises it. [Hi iironjade. When I log off and click on shutdown, it go's to user logo screen it wont turn off from their either. The only way to turn it off is to hold power button down and do a crash stop.
