Re: Gateway M275 Button Drivers

You can get that .exe driver you found working for windows with using a linux tool called "Ndiswrapper." Check over this link here. I have never done this but I heard about this tool up in different linux forums on getting an old and outdated driver from a windows OS up and working under linux. Here...

Re: [Gaming] Linux MInt using "Steam."

Soooo... lolcats have what to do with this topic? You're spamming your own thread? Way to go. I am kool like that huh? lol. Actually that phrase was spoken in a game the older users know about. Legend of Zelda. One of the first games that came out for that series. Also it has a deeper meaning for t...

Re: [Howto][Hacks] Install the Java Runtime enviroment on Op

Going to go look into the debian branches proper. The linux mint branches are all one on one private branches, even though you could fork out from them if you wanted to help out on the GUIs or frameworks. Over a 1000 branches in there, for the debian side. This will take a bit. I will be back tomorr...

Re: [Howto][Hacks] Install the Java Runtime enviroment on Op

Here is where I am at. Check this link here. I am going to branch out from this guy here. https://github.com/clefebvre It is some sort of updater for the linux mint. We will work with him and have him take a look over the patch. Clement Lefebvre. All he does is work on the GUIs. That will not work. ...

Hi guys I am back:) If its ok with the guys in here I am going to start looking over that script you guys posted, and branching out on the github for the linux mint branch on my github. Re: Oracle VM Virtualbox or VMware player?

I am using VMware player at the moment. I tried the Oracle virutal box, Using Windows 7 as my host OS, I found it was lacking proper audio support for some audio drivers. My workstation and parts are only a month old. I could never get audio to work on it on Linux Mint 14.1 as my "guest" OS. Pulse A...

Re: No flash on web browser.

We got a thread here in the forums if you want to get that flash up and going. I found the plug-in "flash-aid" works for some, but not for others. Check out flash-aid at this link here for firefox. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/flash-aid/ If that is not working for you there is a mo...
