Hi all,

it tells me that there a updates available but when i click on the icon and i typed my password the mitnupdate window appears but it is greyed out and nothing happens for 2 or 3 minutes, then the icon is kind of broken ???

i would like to have my system uptodate...

what to do ?
any ideas ?

the broken icon means that either there is no internet connection or some other update application (synaptic, apt-get, aptitude, adept) is doing an update.
Mint update knows there are some updates to get from checks during the build process of the distro (by me).
but there are even more updates since then that it does not konw about.

make sure you are connected to the internet before trying to start mintupdate.
