System Hangs

Postby hassan8x » Thu Nov 19, 2009 11:19 am

I've just installed Mint 7 KDE and I've noticed that its performance is very slow. During boot, it shows the message that some sectors of Primary Memory are corrupted!

And the system hangs whenever I start to do some work. During software update, using firefox, moving an icon on desktop or just trying to close windows a little faster.... screen just goes black!!!

Any suggestions for the problem resolution?

Also, I must add that its my first time with Mint and I really really really liked it untill this started to happen :(

I would try reinstalling Mint KDE.
