Turn off system sounds.

Postby jfv » Sun Mar 16, 2008 12:09 pm

Hey there-

It was easy enough to find in the Main Edition, but I can't seem to locate the spot in XFCE CE where I could disable all system sounds. It must be there somewhere?

Best,
J.

There are no system sounds, only a login sound.
Any sounds you get are from the application you are using.

Aah... no way to turn _that_ (ie. login sound) off, eh?

Also, there's this screen that pops up when booting about not being able to find internet settings, and you get to choose between 'try again' or 'keep going' (roughly).. any way to get rid of _that_? Unnecessarily slows down the booting process, I find.

Thanks for your assistance, much appreciated- Mint XFCE is such a thing of beauty!

Best,
Julien
