Installing onto netbooks

Post by ddalley »

Is there a way in LM of keyboard scrolling with the small screens of netbooks?
I've tried keyboard combos, but nothing worked.

The opening screen after an install has bottons out of reach for a click, plus some programs, such as Evolution, are not small-screen friendly, either. Fortunately, with this particular install of Xfce, I am able to move the USB memory stick to another computer with a bigger screen, to click on opening panels and eliminate them, but I could not do that with an install directly onto the netbook's SSD.

Hold down the Alt key, you can then move the window by dragging it until you see any corner of it. You can then resize the window as normal.

Hmmm, I thought I tried doing that one, but I will attempt it again.

Thanks!
