Lag time before XFCE edition released?

Postby gtcaz » Fri Sep 21, 2007 1:13 am

Hello XFCE community folk!

I'm using Cassandra XFCE on an old iSeries Thinkpad and (other than my WiFi card) it's working great! Thanks for everyone's work on this! So much better than everything else I tried. (My prior fave was Kanotix, but it wasn't as nice looking and has run into problems.)

I'm really excited about Celena, and I'm just wondering what the more or less typical lag time is for the XFCE edition to be released following release of the standard edition. (Mostly because I'm excited to give it a spin!)

Thanks again.

Not sure, I am just getting well.
I was sick all last week(and had a headache that made it very difficult to do anything, including thinking), but feeling better this week.
Plus while i was sick I ended up deleting XFCE CE off my hard drive.(It wasn't working and later found out it was the cable not the hard drive)

I have already reinstalled XFCE CE and modified the new login screen for XFCE.
I have a list of everything that was changed for Celena and doesn't look to hard to do.
I am hoping to start working on it next week, after I get the sources to the new packages in Celena.
I don't think it should take to long to do, just long for the testing before uploading to clem.
I hope that most of the bugs in Celena Main are worked out before I start.
