Today I've noticed that I cannot access the MintMenu Preferences window. Tried reloading it, changing WM (thinking it could be a Comiz thing) and none of that helped.

How do I reset it to its default settings?
Turns out, no need for reseting anything. It appears that MintMenu doesn't like Yaru theme (or vice versa). Switching to Flat Remeix resolved it for me.

As of today, gm10's mintupdate is in the "Main" repo for Bodhi Linux 5.1 and no longer in its "Testing" repo. That makes it even easier to install it in Bodhi 5.1.

Bodhi Linux 5.1 has four editions: in the AppPack edition, gm10's mintupdate is present by default. In the other three editions it can simply be installed with apt.

Could anyone please clear things up for those of us still in the dark?
1. What exactly happened to gm10?
2. Is his PPA still available and compatible to Mint?

My guess: he probably wanted to move on. His post count here (a round 11.000) seems to corroborate that....

While still available, note that its somewhat regular updates have ceased, with the last being for mintupdate on 2020-01-11.

^Since it's working seamlessly, perhaps it doesn't require an update.

Perhaps indeed, and I wasn't attempting to suggest that updates are required. Simply, the tool set had seen somewhat regular development, of which now not seen for nearly three months.

Thanks guys, it looks like we're all guessing, nobody knowing anything for sure.
The post count may well be a coincidence. If I ever got to know the man, in the very least he would've said something, anything. Last thing I remember in this topic is him promising to look into some issue, here. Doesn't sound like someone prepared to leave without a word. :? Unless somebody pissed him off very very badly, or if he was requested to 'cease and desist' with a gag order (which I find quite hard to believe). The alternative to all this is something I just don't wanna think about. :(

Maybe he found a more receptive project home. Glad to see its getting traction elsewhere. Looks like a nice distro.

It's not about the tools - it's about the person. To me at least...

True that. Well, he was clear regarding the future of the PPA, that he may abandon it at any time and that is what has happened. Like Drugwash, I also hope, not due to any unforeseeable and unfortunate reasons for him personally.

Perhaps. Or maybe just taking a sabbatical from development.

Given the state of the world at this time, I trust that he is just plain preoccupied.

That is the sad thing about forums such as this a "friend" disappears and no one knows why because there is no contact IRL....
When this is over, I'd suggest that we have a "meet and greet" in our various areas to get to know some of our compatriots IRL.

I'm not convinced. gm10's postings dropped off considerably last year, well before anything recent occurred. I venture he's gone to help out in greener pastures.
It's pronounced kad-eye-cha, not kada-itcha.
