Gcc File.c -o File.exe Works on CentOS but not on Mint

Post by LinuxNoob69 »

So I'm literally started daily driving linux for the sake of making such executable. However it just will not work, it keeps saying that library does not exist or such (I'm not on it right now) but the error would point to " < "

For Example

#include <something>

Executables on Linux tend to not have an .exe suffix but other than that you'd need to install the correct foo-dev package(s) to have the correct libraries and header files installed. As to what said correct packages are we can't tell you, you providing no information as to glean this from. Generally on Ubuntu/Mint you need at least sudo apt-get install build-essential.
